Course Description
The participants will be educated as members of small working teams, employing modern tools and equipment. Level 2 Arborist Rigging Applications builds on the principles and practical skills acquired in Level 1. The concepts of system dynamics, force management, design factors, and working load limits will be re-examined; and new concepts, methods, and principles that relate to rigging systems will be taught. The students will learn to plan and execute compound rigging systems in challenging field exercises. This course emphasizes safety, skill development, and productivity; and consists of both theoretical and practical learning activities.

What to BringStudents are encouraged to bring any equipment they use and/or would like to discuss with the instructor. However it is required that students bring their own Personal Protective Equipment and Personal Gear as outlined below. It you do not have the necessary climbing equipment, please inform our office prior to attending the program.

We encourage you to bring any rigging gear (especially if you are driving) that you are currently using and would like to discuss and possibly use during the program such as:
It is not necessary to bring a chain saw to the course as we will have saws on hand for the students use.
Classes will take place rain or shine. We suggest before departing for your program, that you check the extended forecast for the area the training will be held. If rain is at all forecasted, we recommend that you bring appropriate rain gear, thermal undergarments if in a cooler climate and a change of clothing on the day of the class. Prerequisites:
